Cansu G�rsu, one of the Maumau artists, explores the layered structure of memory and identity construction in her works inspired by the self-portrait tradition. Subtly influenced by expressionism, he uses different techniques on canvas and wood; He imitates the complex aspects of human nature by layering photography, collage and painting.
Cansu G�rsu graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2011 with third place. In addition to participating in many group exhibitions at home and abroad, he was among the 20 artists selected by the Rotary Club in the "Rotary Club Art Competition" in 2011 and was entitled to be included in the catalogue. The artist held his first personal exhibition in 2012 under the name "Dinlemeiyorum G�ndem Feza" at Galeri ARTIST LAB ANKARA. His second exhibition met with art lovers in Maumau in 2014 under the name "Sometimes It Happens Like That". In 2015, he opened his exhibition called "I Was Just Going Too" in Maumau. He held his last personal exhibition titled "I Watched You Burn with Pleasure" at Space Debris in 2017.
