THE STORY OF DODDL: It is a brand that emerged from the passion, knowledge, and most importantly, the experiences of three British mothers
These three mothers found that the problem with crying children at meal times turned into a torment and eventually, the use of the fork, spoon, and knife was to blame
Observing that the design being the same as the adults’ but just a smaller version wasn’t quite suitable for children's tiny hands, they created the DODDL set in a shape and size suitable for their hand skills
DODDL's cutlery set is different from ordinary sets
It has been worked on with child development experts for about 18 months, until the best was found
DODDL CUTLERY FEATURES: KNIFE: The DOODL knife is not sharp but allows children to cut without exerting force with a serrated tip and handle designed to fit their palms
Unlike other ordinary knives, it doesn't have cutting properties so it's not dangerous
Thus, children try to cut with wrist strength, which inevitably leads to stress over failure and eventually crying
Therefore, children prefer to tear and eat the food with their hands
DODDL has solved this by designing a knife with a serrated tip that allows children to cut without any effort but is not sharp and has a short handle to fit their palms
SPOON-FORK: Like the knife, the spoon and fork also provide a comfortable grip with their special handles
The metal part that comes into contact with food makes it much easier to scoop and stab compared to other silicone ones
The spoon and fork have special and short handles similar to the grasping reflex, unlike other ordinary spoons and forks
The handles of the spoon, fork, and knife are made of thermoplastic polymer and thermoplastic elastomer, and their tips are made of stainless steel
