ARAI RX-7V EVO
The RX-7V Evo has always been the benchmark at the highest level in Arai's motorcycle racing R&D
Handcrafted by a family business of three generations in Japan, this helmet is a state-of-the-art product from Arai
The production of Arai helmets is handmade, and for our experts, it can take up to five years
Up to 27 steps of the process are required to create an Arai shell, and an Arai helmet takes about 18 man-hours to build
Each helmet goes through five separate quality control departments: shell making, painting process, assembly process, and two-stage in-process inspection
All Arai helmets are subject to penetration testing, although this is not required in European standards
The penetration test is performed by hitting a 3 kg test cone against the helmet from a height of 3 meters
Arai helmets are designed to meet the mandatory ECE standard and additionally meet Arai's own stringent internal testing criteria

ECE R22-06 IS JUST THE BEGINNING
It requires a much more rigorous testing process than ECE R22-05 and involves an oblique test to measure rotation
Arai presented this model and gained homologation while maintaining the characteristic round, smooth and strong shell design
Or simply put, as an Arai
The acquisition of the latest standards represents the current benchmark at the time, but Arai always continues to pursue improvements to protect the driver
PB SNC2 SHELL
It is Arai's proprietary (super fiber belt) Circumferential Belted Structural Net Composite
This technology was developed by borrowing the F-1 technology, keeping the weight to a minimum while maintaining shell strength and flexibility to the maximum
Positioned at the top of the eye, the peripheral arch allows for the use of a thinner EPS liner, which increases the upward field of view, which is especially important in a full racing position
Structural Mesh Composite physically strengthens the resin bond of various fiber layers and reinforcement materials within the shell
INNER & OUTER SHELL
Arai helmets distribute impact forces using a very strong outer shell and absorb residual energy using a soft inner shell
The Multi-Density EPS Inner Shell is made using a unique compounding technology that combines three to five densities in different areas as a single component
ADJUSTABLE AIR-WING®
MotoGP has been tested and designed to greatly reduce drag, turbulence and skidding, resulting in greater comfort and additional top speed
It improves the helmet's stability and reduces noise at high speeds or during hard braking
Depending on the model, the Air Wing can be adjusted in five different angles of attack position to suit any riding position
JAW SPOILERS
It helps to minimize wind noise and also aids in the removal of warm air from the facial area
It provides additional diversion of road debris away from the neck
Depending on the model, Chin Spoilers can be retracted
